How to limit my Roaming expenses (when I travel)?

Offering tools to our customers to limit their spending risks is part of MUCHO’s DNA.

Automatic protection of over-consumption of internet data while roaming

In your subscription or prepaid pack, you have a certain amount of internet data while roaming in Europe. Beyond this data, the service will be stopped automatically and you will be informed by SMS. This first security prevents you with MUCHO from suffering uncontrolled spending.

Once your mobile service’s internet data is exhausted, you can continue to surf while Roaming, by purchasing an additional Roaming option available here.

The same rule if you are travelling outside Europe. If you don’t activate a Roaming option for the region you’re travelling to, you won’t have any internet service by default, so there’s no risk of unpleasant surprises with uncontrolled Roaming expenses. With MUCHO you are in control of your subscription.

Automatic Roaming Call Overcharge Protection

To avoid being billed for unanswered calls that are diverted to your voicemail (combox), we advise you to deactivate your Combox. For more information, you can watch our tutorial video “Cockpit – Customise my services”.

Also, you have the possibility to set a daily Roaming Airbag in CHF, i.e. a daily spending limit in Swiss Francs that cannot be exceeded on a daily basis during your stays outside Switzerland. This means that beyond this amount that you have defined, your call will be cut off and you will not be able to receive or make any more calls during that day.

For more information, you can watch our tutorial video “Cockpit – Activate Roaming while always keeping control of your costs”.
