Is it possible to use a 4G router with a SIM MUCHO?

Yes, you can create with your smartphone or 4G router a Wi-Fi access point to allow temporary mobile internet access to other Wi-Fi enabled devices.

Our MUCHO mobile services are designed for normal, private, mobile use and not to deliver mobile internet as a replacement for a fixed network.

Our “Internet Only” prepaid packs that offer only limited internet data can be used without restrictions in a router.

On the other hand, if you choose a subscription or a prepaid pack containing unlimited internet, you should know that by inserting a MUCHO SIM card in a 4G router in substitution of a fixed internet access (permanently), the service will work in high speed as long as your consumption does not exceed the average consumption of 90% of our customer base. If, however, your data usage becomes extreme (i.e. in the top 10% of usage), then the internet speed of your subscription or prepaid pack will be automatically reduced to a speed of 256kbps during the month by our systems. The internet data volume will remain unlimited at this reduced speed until the end of your mobile service’s monthly cycle.

Measures to preserve the quality of our mobile services will be automatically activated which may range from a simple warning, to the temporary reduction of the internet speed in the course of the month, to the removal of any promotional discount granted at the time of purchase, or even the immediate termination of the contract and associated service.
