You can create a Wi-Fi hotspot with your smartphone to allow mobile internet access to other Wi-Fi enabled devices.<\/p>\n

Your internet connection must be configured to allow hotspot connection. If you have not already done so, you can follow the instructions in the > Enable my MUCHO services<\/a> section.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enable hotspot on my smartphone:<\/h2>\n

With an iphone<\/h3>\n

  1. In your phone’s settings, select the Cellular data<\/strong> menu. <\/li>\n
  2. Find the Cellular Data Network<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the Access Point Name field and enter the word \u00ab\u00a0internet\u00a0\u00bb.<\/li>\n
  4. Do not fill in anything in the \u00ab\u00a0Username\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Password\u00a0\u00bb tabs. <\/li>\n
  5. Then find the LTE Configuration<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n
  6. Select the Access Point Name field and enter the word \u00ab\u00a0internet\u00a0\u00bb.<\/li>\n
  7. Do not fill in the \u00ab\u00a0Username\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Password\u00a0\u00bb tabs. <\/li>\n
  8. Then find the Shared Connection<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n
  9. Select the Access Point Name field and enter the word \u00ab\u00a0internet\u00a0\u00bb.<\/li>\n
  10. Do not fill in anything on the \u00ab\u00a0User Name\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Password\u00a0\u00bb tabs. <\/li>\n
  11. Click back to save.<\/li>\n
  12. Turn off your phone and restart it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

    With an Android:<\/h3>\n

      \n
    1. Open the Wifi and network settings. <\/li>\n
    2. Mobile access point and connection sharing<\/li>\n
    3. Mobile access point, then enable this feature.<\/li>\n
    4. Then check the Wi-Fi password and phone name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n

      On the device you want to connect, enable Wi-Fi then go to the list of detected wifi networks, select your device then enter the password. <\/p>\n

      For mobile subscriptions and prepaid packs, the Hotspot functionality is delivered by MUCHO at a maximum download speed of 10 Mbit\/ s and upload speed of 5 Mbit\/s. For internet options (e.g. PLUS1GB), the hotspot functionality is delivered by MUCHO at a maximum download speed of 100 Mbit\/s and upload speed of 10 Mbit\/s.<\/p>\n

      Can’t connect<\/h2>\n

      The wireless network may be out of range or its signal is too weak for the phone to connect properly. Check the signal indicator to make sure you have a good connection. <\/p>\n

      Connection keeps dropping<\/h2>\n

      By default, after a certain amount of time without activity, your hotspot will automatically disconnect. You can change this setting in the mobile hotspot settings of your smartphone. <\/p>\n

      The connection is in reduced speed, despite a pack or unlimited subscription<\/h2>\n

      The use of our unlimited mobile subscriptions is thought for a mobile, private and normal use from a smartphone. Permanent connection sharing, installation in a router in substitution of a fixed internet connection or which consumes beyond the norm represented by the average usage consumed by 90% of our customers contravenes the current GTCs and has its speed automatically reduced.<\/p>\n
